BETWEEN is a contemporary abstract painting exploring the tension between opposing states — presence and absence, structure and instinct, movement and stillness.

The composition is defined by a restrained dialogue between deep black organic forms and an expansive white ground. The absence of color is deliberate, allowing form, rhythm, negative space, and visual tension to become the central language of the work.

The irregular forms appear to shift between recognition and abstraction. They emerge, overlap, separate, and recede, creating an evolving visual experience in which no single element completely dominates the composition. What initially appears simple gradually reveals a more complex relationship between density and emptiness, control and spontaneity.

The title BETWEEN refers to the space where opposites coexist — not as contradictions, but as two forces continuously shaping one another.

With its minimal palette and strong physical presence, the work is conceived as a statement in contemporary abstraction: quiet in color, yet assertive in form; restrained in appearance, yet open to interpretation.
