Know what you are buying
Every piece lists its medium, dimensions and date. Condition reports and provenance are available on request, and a certificate of authenticity can be issued where the seller holds one.
Know what you will pay
A 10% buyer’s premium plus 20% VAT on the premium, shown on the lot before you bid. Delivery is quoted separately by the provider you choose.
Bidding that cannot be sniped
A bid in the final 5 minutes extends the lot by another 5. You are never beaten by a bid you had no chance to answer.
How it works

- 2 Watch and ask Save pieces to your watchlist, follow the dealers and artists you like, and ask about anything before you commit.
- 3 Buy or bid Buy now, make an offer, or bid. Sold prices are published in the results archive.

Questions
What happens if a lot does not meet its reserve?
It goes into an aftersale window, where it can be bought at the reserve for a limited period. If you were watching it, you are told.
Can I see a piece before buying?
Ask the seller through the enquiry on any listing. Viewing is arranged between you and them.
Who delivers it?
You choose a logistics provider and are invoiced by them directly. Packing and transit are insured.
