For Artists

Sell directly to collectors, keep your attribution, and build a public record of what your work sells for.

An artist account gives you a public profile at your own address on Arteify, with your work, your biography and your links. Collectors can follow you, and followers are notified when you list something new.

Your name on the work

Every listing carries its maker. Attribution appears on the piece, in the catalogue and on your profile — not just the name of whoever is selling it.

A public price record

Sold works appear in the Arteify results archive with the price realised. Over time that becomes an auditable record of your market, which is what institutions and insurers ask for.

First look for your followers

Collectors who follow you are notified as soon as you publish, before the piece reaches the wider catalogue.

How it works

1 Register as an artist Verify your identity and confirm the work is yours to sell.
2 Build your profile Add a biography, a photograph, your links and the work you want shown.
3 List and sell Fixed price or auction. 8% commission plus VAT on the commission, and nothing to pay if a piece does not sell.

What you can rely on

Every seller is verified by Arteify before a single piece goes live.
Condition notes and provenance are available on request for any piece.
A bid in the final 5 minutes extends the lot by another 5, so nothing can be won in the last second.
Packing and insured delivery are arranged after the sale and invoiced by the logistics provider you choose.

Questions

Is a sale of my own work subject to resale royalty?

No. Artist’s Resale Right applies to resales, not to the first sale by the artist. Selling your own work here is a primary sale.

Can a gallery also represent me?

Yes. A dealer can list your work under their own account with you credited as the artist, and both profiles link to each other.
