Logistics
Moving the work
Arteify introduces and vets a network of specialist art and antiques handlers. You choose your provider and contract with them directly — they invoice you for the work. We don’t hold stock: pieces stay with the seller until sold and collected.
How Arteify logistics works
- We vet specialist handlers before they join the network.
- You choose a handler for collection, delivery or storage of your piece.
- You contract with, and pay, that handler directly. Arteify introduces and vets — it does not supply transport itself.
What our handlers provide
- Collection — from a private residence, gallery or storage facility.
- Packing & crating — specialist packing for fragile, oversized or high-value pieces.
- Delivery & installation — including white-glove delivery, in-home placement and installation.
- International shipping — customs documentation, export licences, CITES paperwork for applicable materials, and freight.
- Storage — short- and long-term storage.
Insurance & care
Transit insurance is arranged with your chosen handler, cover the piece’s declared value. The level of cover, timescales and cost are agreed with that handler as part of your quote.
Costs
Handlers quote per item, based on size, weight, fragility and destination. Shipping is quoted and invoiced separately by your chosen provider. Import duties and taxes in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility, and where they apply VAT and the Artist’s Resale Right levy are additional.
