Shipping & Delivery

Arteify coordinates logistics for every transaction through a network of vetted, specialist art and antiques handlers. We do not hold stock — items remain with the seller until sold and collected.

Domestic Shipping (UK)

For items sold to buyers within the United Kingdom:

  • Standard delivery: 5–10 business days from confirmed payment
  • White-glove delivery: Available for high-value or fragile works — includes in-home placement and unpacking
  • Packaging: All works are packed by specialist art handlers using museum-grade materials
  • Insurance: All items are fully insured for their full declared value in transit
  • Collection service: Available within Greater London at no additional charge

International Shipping

Arteify ships worldwide. For international deliveries:

  • Customs documentation, export licences, and international freight are handled by our approved freight partners
  • Import duties and taxes applicable in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility
  • CITES documentation is arranged for applicable works (ivory, certain materials)
  • Delivery timescales vary by destination — typically 10–21 business days
  • All international shipments are fully insured

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are quoted on a per-item basis and are confirmed before the transaction completes. Costs depend on the size, weight, fragility, and destination of the item. For auction lots, a shipping estimate is shown on the lot page.

For items requiring specialist crating (oversized works, sculpture, furniture), a bespoke quote will be provided within 2 business days of sale.

Tracking

Once your item has been collected for delivery, you will receive a tracking reference by email. For white-glove deliveries, our logistics partner will contact you directly to arrange a delivery window.

Damaged Items

In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and item immediately and contact us within 48 hours at support@arteify.com. Do not discard any packaging materials. We will arrange collection and, where appropriate, a full refund or replacement.
