Secure Bidding
Bid with confidence
Every part of how bids are placed, recorded and settled on Arteify is designed to be transparent, fair and secure.
Registering to bid
To bid in an Arteify auction you first create an account and complete collector registration, which includes identity verification. For higher-value lots, a payment method on file may be required. This protects every bidder by ensuring each paddle belongs to a verified individual or entity.
Registration is free. Once approved, your bidding access carries across future auctions unless suspended.
How bidding works
- Live bidding — bid in real time during the auction window; every bid is recorded as placed.
- Absentee (maximum) bids — submit a maximum in advance and the system bids on your behalf up to your limit.
- Confidential maximums — your maximum is held securely and never shown to other bidders.
Payment & settlement
Winning bidders are notified as soon as the auction closes. Payment is made by major credit or debit card, or by bank transfer. A buyer’s premium applies to every lot, and the rate is shown on the lot page before you bid.
Works are held securely until payment clears; delivery is then arranged with your chosen handler.
Data & privacy
Payments are processed by established, PCI-compliant payment providers, and Arteify never stores your card details. Your identity and bidding history stay confidential — other bidders never see your name or activity.
Disputes
Every bid is logged with a timestamp and account reference. If you believe an error has occurred, contact us promptly after the auction closes and we’ll review the bid record with you.
