How to sell on Arteify
Arteify is a trusted UK marketplace for fine art, antiques and vintage. Here is exactly how to get a piece listed — at a fixed price or in a live auction. Every submission is reviewed by our specialists before it goes live.
Before you start
- Create your account and choose Artist, Dealer / Gallery or Service provider. Confirm your email when the welcome message arrives.
- Get verified. Dealers and galleries upload ID and proof of address for a one-time KYC check (securely encrypted, never public). Our team approves you.
- Sign in and go to Sell → Start selling.
Choose your path
Sell at a fixed price
Best for straightforward sales where you already know the price.
- Buyer clicks Buy Now or Make an Offer
- Great for prints, editions and priced stock
- Listed in the gallery once approved
Consign to auction
Best for rare or collectible works where bidding achieves the strongest price.
- Sold by live bidding with estimate & reserve
- Great for one-of-a-kind or high-value pieces
- Enters a scheduled sale once approved
Path A — List an item (fixed price)
- Open the form at List an item.
- Add the essentials: Title, Category (Art / Antiques / Vintage) and Price (£).
- Add trust detail: Maker / Artist, Medium, Year, Dimensions, Origin, Condition.
- Provenance — ownership history, receipts, exhibition or auction records.
- Upload a clear photograph. Add more once approved.
- Submit. You will get a confirmation email; our team reviews and publishes it.
Path B — Consign a lot (auction)
- Open the form at Consign a lot.
- Describe the lot: Title, Description, Category.
- Set the numbers: Low & High estimate, Starting bid, optional Reserve.
- Add Condition, Provenance and Logistics notes.
- Confirm the seller declaration and submit.
- Our specialists review against our governance checklist and confirm the sale date before it goes live.
What happens after you submit. Your listing is saved as Pending and is not visible to buyers yet. Our team reviews it, may request a small change, then approves it — and it appears in the gallery or auction calendar.

Tips for a listing that sells
- Photograph well — sharp, natural light, plain background; show marks or damage honestly.
- Be specific — exact dimensions, materials, maker, date.
- Tell the provenance story — trust is what Arteify is built on.
- Price with the market — for auction, an honest estimate and realistic reserve.
